To provide and implement a comprehensive Community Relations and Indigenous and Cultural Heritage strategy and plan and engage with many stakeholders during the design and construction phase of the Project.
Our Approach
To achieve successful Community Relations and Indigenous Affairs an all encompassing Management Plan was compiled that incorporated an Indigenous Engagement and Cultural Heritage; Community Engagement; Social Management; Landholder Engagement; External Stakeholder Relations; Government Relations; Local Industry Participation; Issues/Crisis Framework and Protocols; Media Plan and Protocols; Internal Communications and Community Investment and Legacy.
To ensure success for the project, the following key elements were required:
- active engagement with community members, indigenous groups, stakeholders and directly affected landholders;
- timely release of information and marketing materials in-line with construction timeframes and schedules;
- comprehensive issues management with government departments, the media, landholders and other interested parties;
- a comprehensive strategy that can change and adapt;
- effective processes and methods of communication; and
- management of a comprehensive project database.
Our Outcome
A decision on the award of the contract for this project is undergoing the review and approvals process.
